Grass Clippings:
What an ending to 2009 and what a start to 2010. Mother Nature gave us 67 inches of rain last year and we have seen near record lows in the past few months. Hopefully warmer weather and golf fever will be here soon and we can go back to grooming our golf course. During this cold weather our staff has been busy renovating the break room, painting various signs on the course, and keeping up with our annual equipment maintenance.
Bunker Renovation
In the near future, we will turn our attention to renovating bunkers. We will start with the bunkers that give us the most maintenance and playing issues first. We hope to complete two to four holes this spring. We will remove the old sand and add drainage, a bunker liner to stabilize the sand so future wash out will be held to a minimum, and lastly, new sand.
Drainage
