Golf News:
July & August is here which means the dog days ofsummer. Actually June felt like August this year. But that’s ok we are having a great summer! The Wilfred Galbraith ACC Men’s Invitational was a huge success. Congratulations to Freeman Fite on winning his fourth invitational title since 1997. We had just under 100 players and nearly half the field was ACC members. I want to personally thank
each of you for your participation. This was the most members we have for this event over the past ten years.
The 2010 Father Son weekend was also well
represented by our membership. Congratulations
to Gary & Jansen Wilborn on winning the overall
championship in this fun event. It is really neat to
see the variety of teams. Sons as young as seven and
fathers old as 80 make this tournament my favorite
of the year.
The only two major events happening in July &
August are the Sunny King Classic July 9-11 and the
Walker Reynolds Cup Labor Day Weekend.
I look forward to continuing to see everyone out for
