Tennis News:
The first two months of the year really proved that sometimes even in the south it can become really cold. We have had many freezing temperatures in a row that has kept our clay courts out of practice. So, due to this bad weather we had to cancel our Australia Open Doubles event in January. However, we were able to have one of our most fun events on February 6th, The JSU/ACC Pro-AM. We had college players from all over the world coming to ACC and enjoying a doubles game with our members. I was really proud of our members to play under windy, cold and even sleeting conditions that day. At the end it seems like everyone enjoyed the higher level of tennis.
We have not been able to add the Flex Leagues yet, but as soon as all courts become playable again we will start right away.
I would like to remind everyone that our USTA leagues have started and that if you would like to be a part of a team please contact us at the tennis shop at 236-3755.
Thanks for supporting us,
